Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club to Compete at Kamloops June Classic Invitational
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is preparing for an exciting venture as they head to Kamloops, British Columbia, to compete in the prestigious Kamloops June Classic Invitational. Scheduled to take place from June 13 to June 15, 2025, this event promises to be a significant milestone for the young athletes representing the club. The team, consisting of eight talented swimmers aged 11 to 12, has been selected based on their impressive rankings in total World Aquatic Points.
Promising Talent Representing Saskatoon
The club is proud to announce the swimmers who will be part of this travel tour: Aliyah Aubut, Abigail Gauld, Miller Gotto, Emmy Hoffmann, Jacob Findlay, Mateo Jarcan, Alex Kovalenko, and Cohen Veikle. These young athletes are eager to showcase their skills on a larger stage and gain invaluable experience.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for swimmers ages 11 to 12 to compete within their age group at a championship level meet," said Jennifer Robinson, Head Development Coach for the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club. "Competing against swimmers from outside their province will heighten their awareness of the preparation needed to apply their racing tactics and skills. These swimmers will set their sights on future opportunities, including the upcoming North American Indigenous Games 2027 and the Saskatchewan Summer Games 2028. This type of travel tour assists in preparing these swimmers for all provincial and national travel tour opportunities."
