Saskatoon Junior Goldfins Celebrate New Graduates Moving to Competitive Levels

Saskatoon, April 2026 – The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club takes great pride in announcing the graduation of a new cohort of swimmers from the Junior Goldfins program. The Board of Directors, along with the dedicated Coaching Staff, extends heartfelt congratulations to these promising young athletes: Yunze Hao, Luca de Boer, Maeve Friggstad, and Gemma Friggstad, as they advance to the White 1 & 2 Competitive Program.
This transition marks a significant milestone in the athletic journey of these swimmers, who have demonstrated remarkable dedication and talent in the “Learn to Race – Gold Level” segment of the Junior Goldfins. Training three times a week, these young athletes have honed their skills and endurance, preparing themselves for the challenges of competitive swimming.
The Goldfins Swim Club’s White Groups offer an engaging and supportive environment where swimmers continue to refine their technique and build on their foundational skills. Training sessions are held twice during weekdays, with an additional practice every Saturday morning at the prestigious Shaw Centre. This structured program aims to ease swimmers into the competitive landscape through local meets and events designed to provide introductory competitive experiences.

The diversity of experiences among these athletes highlights the Goldfins' commitment to nurturing a wide range of talents and abilities. Each swimmer brings a unique set of skills and aspirations, contributing to the vibrant community within the club.
As these young athletes embark on the next stage of their swimming careers, we celebrate their achievements and look forward to their future successes. Congratulations to Yunze, Luca, Maeve, and Gemma on this remarkable accomplishment.
