Goldfins Club Records Fall at J.P. Fiset Invitational 2023

This past weekend, the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club members competed in final championships meet on the 2023 competitive calendar.  The Club was 17 strong on deck at the 2023 J.P. Fiset Invitational, held in Edmonton, AB – December 14 – 17, 2023.  The Goldfins successfully set three (3) new records at this event.  Bryce Tierney broke the short course 200M Breaststroke Boys 15 - 17 record - 2:19.84.  Abby Gebhardt tied the Girls 15 - 17 short course 100M Breaststroke record, posting a time of 1:11.35.  The Goldfins Girls 'A' Relay team set a new short course record (Girls 15 - 17) in the 200M Medley Relay - 2:00.01.

 

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club placed 7th overall in the standings, posting 1109 points.

The Goldfins had a very successful competition, posting 79 personal best short course times, with 4 Goldfins posting 100% personal best times.  Congratulations to these swimmers who posted 100% personal best short course times: Keiran Dyck, Avery Houle, Obi Nguyen, and Kian Wu.
