Goldfins Masters Continue to Break Records at the 2024 Regina Masters Invitational

Thirteen Goldfins Masters athletes participated in the Regina Masters Invitational Swim Meet on March 9, 2024, in Regina. During the event, our Masters swimmers achieved an impressive total of 43 personal best times.

Among the standout performances, Melvin Hitchings set two SCM Provincial records in the 75-79 age group, clocking a time of 31.38 in the 25M Butterfly and 49.32 in the 50M Freestyle.

Denise Gilewicz showcased exceptional skill by breaking three SCM Provincial records in the 60-64 age category: 22.21 in the 25M Breaststroke, 42.32 in the 50M Backstroke, and 1:20.06 in the 100M Freestyle.

Additionally, Charlene Zaidan set a new SCM Provincial record in the 55-59 age category with a time of 21.55 in the 25M Breaststroke.
