Goldfins Swimmers of the Month - February 2024

Bryce Tierney  – Gold 18 – Bryce has been a remarkable part of the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club. His commitment to fostering inclusivity within the team, coupled with his enthusiastic approach to all activities and strong leadership skills, has truly set him apart as an outstanding member this year. In January 2024, Bryce initiated the Goldfins Give Back - Book Drive project, which resulted in the collection of over 400 donated books presented to Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan. With Bryce's infectious passion and unwavering dedication to enhancing the competitive swimming experience, it is with great pleasure that he has been honored as the Goldfins Male Swimmer of the Month for February 2024.  

Rebeka Mourre - Gold 18 - Rebeka Mourre is February Swimmer of the Month for her leadership both in and out of the pool. Despite facing challenges with injuries, Rebeka has displayed determination and dedication to her team. She led swim meet activation and was cheering and supporting her teammates. Her warm up, racing and cool down routines were excellent examples of what it means to be a team player and leader.  Her enthusiastic and positive attitude was instrumental in fostering team spirit and camaraderie. Rebeka has had to deal with an injury which affected her training.  Despite her struggles with injuries, Rebeka continued to compete with heart and determination, contributing valuable individual and relay points to the team. Rebeka is an excellent leader and team player, making her a deserving recipient of the February Swimmer of the Month award. Congratulations, Rebeka!
