Goldfins Swimmers of the Month November 2023

Farrah Aitken – White 2 – Farrah has demonstrated a clear goal and goal progression from the start of the swim season. She has steadily pursued her goal by having great attendance and ensuring that each practice she seeks out and applies relevant feedback. Farrah brings a great attitude to the pool- encourages the other swimmers in the group, and always participates in our end of practice group cheers. Along with acting as a mentor and lane leader, I am happy to award swimmer of the month to her. 

Will Sothilingam – White 3 - November has been an exciting month for the W3 group. We had the opportunity to participate in the Lasers SC Meet, Craven Sport Swim Series, and the Little Ceasars Fall Meet all in a few short weeks. One swimmer showed tremendous accomplishment in these competitions with 100% personal best times in the Lasers SC Meet, including a 37.36s best time in his 100m Free. Our Goldfins Male Swimmer of the Month award for November will go to Will Sothilingam.

Will has remained determined in improving his strokes and skills each day and continues to establish himself as a positive example for his teammates. He encourages others to do their best and is always on the sidelines cheering whenever others are racing at a meet, or even just during a fun relay at the end of a hard practice. Congratulations Will and keep up the good work!
