Saskatoon Goldfins Winter Solstice Meet Preview - December 2023
Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club will be 60 strong at the RODS Winter Solstice Swim Meet - December 9 & 10, 2023 – Lawson Aquatic Centre – Regina, SK. Goldfins ranging in ages 7 – 16 years will be competing against teams from Saskatchewan swim clubs. Goldfins swimmers will be racing in 411 individual events and in 17 relay events.
“The Goldfins will be racing towards the Holidays at this exciting Saskatchewan Developmental Meet,” said Jennifer Robinson – Head Development Coach. “Providing developing swimmers with an opportunity to race fast in December is always optimum for the Program. Swimmers will compete in Regina, SK, attempting to post personal best short course times, while improving the technical execution of their swimming strokes and skills.”

Saturday, December 9, 2023 – Session #1
Swimmer Arrival: 8:00 AM, Warm-Up: 8:30 AM & Competition: 9:15 AM
Session #1 Events: 200M Individual Medley, 200M Breaststroke, 25M & 50M Backstroke, 25M & 50M Fly, 400M Freestyle, 4 X 25M & 4 X 50M Medley Relays
Saturday, December 9, 2023 – Session #2
Swimmer Arrival: 2:10 PM, Warm-Up: 2:30 PM & Competition: 3:15 PM
NEW TIMES: Swimmer Arrival - 3:40 PM, Warm-Up: 4:00 PM & Competition: 4:45 PM
